Humphries Family Chem-Dry’s cleaning method is truly the best out there. It was designed to clean deeper than other methods without using excess water or harsh chemicals to do so. Our unique Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) method puts the cleaning power of carbonation to work to get deep into the individual fibers of your carpets and lift dirt, dust, allergens, and bacteria to the very surface where our powerful extraction equipment eliminates it all. HCE is so effective that we’re able to use just a fraction of the water that other methods use. Your carpets will dry in just two hours or less. With other methods, you could be waiting days for your carpets to dry.

If not treated properly, pet urine odors can linger for months on end in your home. When pet urine dries into your carpet and the padding underneath, millions of concentrated urine crystals are left in the carpets and become even more pungent as time goes on. Many carpet cleaning companies won’t eliminate the source of the odor – they’ll simply mask it with chemicals and soaps instead. Humphries Family Chem-Dry uses a patented system called P.U.R.T.® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) to break down the urine crystals and get rid of pet urine odors for good.

We combine our HCE process with our own cleaner, The Natural, which contains only all-natural ingredients and is non-toxic and safe for use in homes with kids and pets. The carbonation used in HCE releases millions of tiny bubbles that lift dirt, allergens, bacteria, and dust to the surface of your upholstery, where it’s then whisked away by our extraction equipment. Your upholstery is left with a deeper, longer-lasting clean than other methods, and your home will be left a cleaner, healthier place.

No, Chem-Dry is not a steam cleaner. Our method uses a fraction of the water that steam cleaning uses. We use the cleaning power of carbonation to lift dirt and grime from your carpets without spraying gallons of water filled with soap, detergent, and chemicals like many steam cleaners do.

Chem-Dry uses our own cleaner, The Natural, which is all-natural, green-certified, non-toxic, and doesn’t contain any soaps, detergents, or harsh chemicals. All the ingredients in our primary cleaner are on the F.D.A.’s G.R.A.S. (Generally Recognized as Safe) list and are safe for use in homes with kids and pets. The Natural is also safe to use on all your carpets, rugs, and upholstery and won’t damage the dyes or structure of any fabrics or fibers.

Most new carpets will have a factory-applied protectant on them when you purchase them. However, this wears off over time, leaving your carpets vulnerable to stains and soiling. Reapplying a protectant will help keep your carpets resistant to stains and soiling and help them stay cleaner longer. Protectant also slows the aging process of carpets and can keep your carpets looking bright and new for much longer.

We base our room sizes on 200 square feet. If any of your rooms are larger than 200 square feet, there may be an additional area charge.
